This is my Uncle Raymond. He was a ski paratrooper killed during the Battle of the Bulge. A member of the U.S. National Ski Jumping team. An Olympian. One of two sons my grandmother sacrificed for the wars of choice the U.S. engages in. She bought the only house she'd own with the insurance.
