Deltaco Cat6A 8-port Krone to RJ45 patch panel, mounted on the ceiling above where the rack will be. I can't work on this once the rack is in place as there is not enough room. Also I've mounted it so that the RJ45 ports face the wall, because Cat6A installation cable is bitch to work with and has a turn radius of something like 15 cm, whereas cat6a patch cables are pretty much as nible as any cat before them. Also, do I need Cat6A? Absolutely not, my longest run is like 8 metres so Cat5E would have been enough to get 10Gbit, and it is much nicer to work with. Live and learn, I guess.
The empty 6u 60cm rack is placed on top of the vertical supports. It sits flat (enough), and there is a ~10cm gap between the rack and the ceiling for airflow and clearance.

outside, one of the one by one vertical pieces has been cut by a cordless circular saw. Could I have done this by hand? Yes, but also I'm not spending my evening outside in the heat sawing when I can get this done in few minutes

The hammers are kissing each other, with a surprise twist: the fiskars is bottoming. I used the "smaller" hammer to drive the claw of the Fiskars tool between two pieces of wood I needed to separate, and the nails were akwardly positioned so I couldn't use the claws in the traditional nail pulling way. Ended up working surprisingly well, the longer handle on the Fiskars gives great leverage.

A 20mm, 30cm auger bit stuck to my wooden floor head first. It was previously attached to my cordless drill, but evidently not well enough. When I went to grab the drill from upstairs, the bit just kinda fell off, corrected its trajectory beautifully and hit the landing perfectly while very narrowly avoiding my toes.

A ethernet cable (Cat6A installation cable, unshielded) terminating in a PCB with I guess Krone terminals(?), where you use a special tool to press the individual wires in slots, the tool presses them in snugly and cuts of the tails. This wallmount RJ-45 box has two RJ-45 terminals, two of the Krone terminals, and strain relief for two cables but I only installed one.
Jack plane, similar to Stanley Bailey no 5 as far as I can tell. The metal parts are completely covered in rust, there is no hint of the green paint most Kunz planes seem to have. The handles(?) are both wood, with varnish flaking off.
I don't know how to describe the color of the shelf, other than depressed turquoise. On the outside side of the shelf, some has painted human characters with a slightly brighter-but-still-off color. The characters look like they have been painted by children, maybe 5-7 years of age, who didn't quite understand why they had to pack all of their toys in boxes, why mom was crying, or why dad wasn't packing his things. It's been 24 years and I still remember the fighting, the shouting, and the fear and confusion I lived in every day.
A photo from the storage room in the sauna building. The floor is concrete with some cow hides(?) on it, the walls are finished with wood paneling except for the rear right section which is concrete and houses a small fireplace. The room has some old chests, cabinets, shelves, etc, filled with various things. It has a pleasant, warm vibe (if you ignore the animal skins and handprints on the walls). In total it is around 10m^2, I think around 2.5x4 metres. I'm going to turn it into a workshop I think.

Photo from the attic crawl space. The right side of the crawl space terminates in a wall of insulation, and I need to pass the cable though it. I could just drill a hole through the insulation, but I don't know how much of it is there. I assume a lot - this kept the attic mostly warm during the winter, even at -25°C.
Same windbreaker room corner, a plastic tube has been put in the hole, followed by Cat6A ethernet cable. The cable is being fed from a 100m spool. Most of the cable is still on the spool, I only pushed few meters through.

Photo taken inside the InterCity train, showing a fresh cup of tea and a 0.33 litre water bottle you get "for free" with the more expensive Extra train tickets (around 36€ for this journey). The drinks are sitting on this massive - by train standards - arm rest/side tray that runs along the window. My hoodie is hanged in the jacket hooks. The scenere outside is this idyllic country side landscape with lots of green. Not pictured, but each seat also has a dedicated wall outlet, adjustable seats with lots of leg room, overhead storage for baggage and a separate storage section for bigger bags. InterCity trains also have paid bicycle storage, and separate car for people travelling with animals. This configuration doesn't have the restaurant car, but it's a short leg, around 45 minutes from Sastamala to Tampere.

Video of me opening my laptop. The lid is a bit stiff but I can get it open with one finger while holding my phone with the other hand. There is no wobble. I even give the screen a little flick to show that there is no wobble. Then I proceed to push the screen open past 90 degrees. All the way to 180 degrees. The screen lays flat against the desk. I continue pushing. The laptop arches its back like a good little computer. I push and push until the screen folder under the laptop, until only the keyboard is visible. A full 360 degree rotation. I pet the laptop, it has been a good little toy.
Aftermath of a strawberry explosion. The same barrel from before, but this time it has strawberry sugar wine batch in it. About one quarter of the volume is taken up by thick, white foam, and the foam is pushing the strawberry mash out of the barrel. It made its way into the airlock, completely blocking, and after enough pressure had built up it shot of the airlock into my ceiling and sprayed strawberry mash everywhere. The explosion was loud enough to wake up my wife. It took us several hours to clean up the mash, and it caused permanent damage to the ceiling. My fault for using too much mash, but also strawberries just have alot of pectin which leads to foaming.
What is now effectively bilberry juice transferred into a clear plastic "barrel". The liquid is very deep reddish purple. The barrel is tiny, with a volume of 8 litres, and has a plastic spigot for draining and a screw-on lid that is out of frame. This barrel is made specifically for fermenting, but you can also use a food safe bucket. I might show this later, maybe in another thread.
A glass of purple (I'm not good with colors sorry) bilberry mead in a wine glass, with an unlabeled bottle of the same mead behind it. With the amount of berries I used it ended up being very similar to red wine in taste, just bilberry instead of winey if that makes sense, and it also looks a bit like red wine. I think I did a good job with letting it clear before bottling, but it is still a bit cloudy, not necessarily in a bad way.

A 0.33 litre bottle of Moomin brand bilberry mead (sima) on a hotel desk. The bottle is a typical glass soda bottle, with a fancy metal cap that you tear open with a pull tab. The bilberry mead is, well, purple in color as you would expect from bilberry juice. There is a tiny bit of foam at the top. The label has MOOMIN in bold all-caps, and Mustikkasima in cursive below it, with in illustration of Moomintroll sleeping outside, around various berry-bearing plants. The bilberries look quite big compared to him.

Far more vibrant picture of the sky, showing a beautiful aurora that alternates between green and red glow. The foreground shows a lot more trees, and also the ground, my fence and sheds. There is an off-scene light that is partially lighting some of the trees, and the picture has impressive, almost unreal dynamic range.

The sauna kiuas has been filled with stones. There is a little gnome holding a tiny bucket, cast from some kind of ceramic I think. You pour water on him once he gets hot, and some of the water will stay in his tiny bucket and boil off slowly. This is just one type of gnome effigies used in Finnish sauna culture.
Loud clanking noises when I place the stones in the sauna kiuas, from the stones colliding with the loud metal frame.

A sleeping dragon. This one is only few years old, and I am actually proud of it. It started as a quick sketchs, and I have already used it as art on some PCBs and I think I will use her as a mascot for my onnx project too. The dragon is sleeping cozily, with her head resting on top of her arm, and the end of her tail is wrapped around her other arm. She has a big warm snout, tiny tusks, and horns that curve straight back behind her head. She has big ears and bat-like wings, and a tail that is bit like a possums tail bit fuzzy.

Because I failed Swedish. This picture is of the left side of the label, it holds the product description/ingredients in Finnish, Swedish, and English. I'll only list the english ones here: Organic Strawberry Glogg 750ml Water, organic strawberry juice (Finland) 15%, organic cane sugar, organic lemon juice from concentrate. Spices: organic cinnamon, organic cardamom, organic clove, organic star anise. Shake the bottle, heat to about 75 degrees and enjoy!
A typical 0.75 litre wine bottle. The label has Moomintroll standing on top a snow-covered hill, with skiis on, looking down the hill nervously. The sky is a gradient from red at the bottom to purple at the top of the label. The sky has some glitter in it, presumably to simulate stars. The label has the MOOMIN logo in all caps, a "Made in Finland" swan, and another logo of stars in a leaf pattern. The product name is Mäenlaskijan mansikkaglögi, written in cursive font under the Moomin logo, and above the scared Moomintroll. Another text under Moomintroll reads: Luomumansikkaglögi, and under it: Ekologist jordgubbsglögg • Organic Strawberry Glogg. The glögg itself is what I would call a light red, with some tiny flecks of strawberry floating in it. Not as deep or dark color as traditional glögg.
