Just sharing something i just found out: If you have a domain, you can easily use it as your Bluesky handle. All you need to do is add a TXT record to your DNS, or put a text file on your website. Took me less than 2 minutes to set up! Click Settings>Advanced>Change Handle>I have my own domain

Nice, and it actually only changes the handle and keeps all followers. But you might want to reserve to bsky handle too. @piratesoftware.bsky.social does too and points to the actual handle
