First off is a simulation study led by David Avraham (@MassEyeAndEar) to simulate the effects of fading & persistence in retinal prosthetic vision
Hamed Shabani (@uni_tue) presents a method to characterize electrical profiles of ON and OFF retinal ganglion cells in sighted and degenerated retina.
Paul Werginz (Vienna University of Technology) uses a computational model of retinal ganglion cells to report on the effects of morphological features on electrical threshold, finding axon initial segment length to be an important indicator of threshold. #TEATC2021
