_myooooon @birdbrain.dev · Jun 15 Excuse the camera shake. I was crouching on my tiptoes to manage a peak through my secret shrub while trying to avoid falling into the mud. Wish I had a better angle but I'll take it. I'm surprised the camera could pick up the sounds so clearly at a distance, but then again this bird is Loud™.

Here is an audio recording of a different lyrebird The lyrebird, of course, is famous for its mimicry. Anyone familiar with Australian birdsong will recognize many of these sounds of other birds (with the obvious kookaburra at 46sec). (Image is of the performer but couldn't get a good shot)
