The iPad app is also full of massive UI bugs (clipped content, messed up layouts, etc.) that have been there for months and are stupidly easy to trigger.
Google Messages is also terrible. It doesn't have a 'delete all' for blocked / spam any more. You have to multi-select each message individually then trash. Maybe Google is trying to push people to Gemini. Allowing the touch UI / UX to languish just accelerates that.
