Though I still feel numb from recent events, there is one thing that will eventually help me through: Spite. If fascists want me to conform, I will be deviant to spite them. If fascists want me dead, I will live to spite them. I will not give them the satisfaction my death or conformity brings. I will continue to be happy and myself through everything. And if being happy requires me to be spiteful, then with all the power I have within me, I will become the most spiteful bitch there's ever been. There will be times where I'll feel hopeless, like there's nothing I can do but to take my own life, but from those ashes of despair I swear I will rise back up and burn twice as bright. If they want to take away my life and everything I hold dear so badly, they'll have to kill me themselves.
