Rune Ulbricht He and Alexander have jobs as instructors at the Academy of Stella Lucida. How they teach is different though. Both are Luminarks, specializing in their own type of Expression. Alexander expresses magic through Incantations, while Rune expresses magic through Inscriptions, such as runes and magic circles

He and Alexander were childhood friends, and had a brother-like bond. He sometimes brings Runa over to play with Grayson, with the two children becoming quick friends.

A sketch of Yggdrasill, Arkir of the Nine Worlds. Their soul form serves as a ferryman for the deceased, in the form of a giant crow with antlers, two sets of wings, and whiskers. Their physical form is the world tree named after themselves, which houses the Nine Worlds.
Soul Fracture The potential end result of extreme spiritual trauma, if death does not occur first. It's much more likely to occur with children than adults due to their still developing soul. But even so, the condition is rare. Angus, Alastair, Cupid, and Fenrir are not just aspects of Chester's mind and personality, but actual individual souls with their own desires and dreams. Real individuals, born from one soul, so to speak. This manifests physically as a "split personality", though due to the spiritual nature it is as complicated as it is in real life. Split Souls can be archetypal in nature. Alastair embodies Chester's inner Good and Wisdom conceptually, manifesting as an entity identical to Chester in appearance, though with changes such as white hair, golden eyes, a halo and three sets of angelic wings. In order for Soul Fracture to be cured, the original (in this case, Chester's) soul must absorb the others. This results in the other souls losing their individuality and consciousness, becoming a part of the original once again. However, as these souls are their own living beings, to the original and the split souls it can be extremely distressing. The manipulation of one's Twilight Energy becomes disrupted greatly, as each soul has their own proficiency.

A couple of sketches of Malvek, the son of Malevir. He was raised within the Umbral Sanctum his whole life, and was taught both the Dark Arts and Wyrmtongue by his father. He became an Umbral Pastor as an adult. He is known as Brother by many in the Umbral Sanctum.

A sketch of Primarch Lucandelus, sovereign of the United Kingdom of Lior and head of the Church of Dawn. He resides within Diluculum, the holy city and royal capital of Lior. Below him are various advanced incantations he typically uses, and the scripture known both as The Prismarium and the Dawnlight Scripture. His Dawnlight Scepter is used both as a symbol of the faith and divine authority, wielded as a staff and catalyst for magic.

A sketch of a massive tree used as a shop, owned by an elf by the name of Arya Gainsborough. Outside is a couple elves and a dragon sleeping by the bus stop. Inside is Arya, alongside a sprite, as well as Alexander and his kids. Arya's Magic Shoppe is located within the Ruby Forest, found near the edge of the Gullanor Province. She sells Scriptures and other magical items like Aetheryte Gems. Arya and Alexander are good friends, both having studied at the Academy of Stella Lucida.

A sketch of some Blood Moon Knights, a group of skilled knights that guard the Blood Moon Castle, though some are found in other places throughout the world. They faithfully serve Malevir. The weapons they use are infused with their own divine blood, which allows for a temporary blood transfusion with each cut (akin to a poison that leaves one's system after some time). This leaves victims greatly fatigued as well as in great pain. The armor they wear is extremely heavy and durable, but through training they are able to move with surprising grace. Their great faith in their father allows them to use more advanced Blood Moon Incantations, which originate from Malevir.
A sketch of Swefnir, Arkir of Sleep and Dreams, alongside the dream owls Odd and Reverie. Originally known as Morpheus, I had decided to change many of the Primordial God's names. The Arkir and the Hulvir are the two types of Celestial, akin to kings/queens and their servants. Swefnir's name is based on the Old English word "Swefn", a word in relation to sleep and dreams. Odd and Reverie are based on different types of dreams; Odd's being weird and nonsensical dreams, and Reverie's being happy daydreams. Swefnir rules over the Kingdom of Somnius, a divine realm beyond the scope of the Dreamlands, unreachable through normal dreaming. It is protected by a Boundary, and can only be accessed via Mystic Key, or through a summons by Swefnir himself. The kingdom is stated to be unfathomable to normal residents of the Dreamlands. He protects the Dreamlands from Night Terrors, Shades that come from the Nightmare Realm. For assistance, he has many of the Hulvir, and even some Lightbearers under his service. He has been keeping a watchful eye on Grayson and his friends' adventures through the Dream Worlds.

Starlight/Stellar Incantations are a branch of Incantations/Magic that uses the power of the heavens for either beneficial or ruinous purposes. All incantations require study and practice in order to effectively utilize them. Usually, incantations are found in special tomes known as Scriptures (though by some they are also called Grimoires). This applies also to forbidden Dark Magic such as Blood Incantations and Crimson Moon Incantations. The Academy of Stella Lucida teaches Stellar Incantations to the students there, and those who study the stars are known as Astrologians. Alexander was an exceptional student, learning all he could through hard work and study. His graduation at the academy was only another step towards the path of the Luminark.

A couple sketches of Chester with his Mystic Key generating a blade of Light. I had done away with the weapon transformations since there wouldn't really be a point in using the key itself if the weapons could just do the same thing, and I like the whole key-shaped wand more (and gives me more ways to figure out key designs). The idea of the Mystic Key conceptually is to function both as an "almighty skeleton key" that can unlock anything, as well as a catalyst for magic. I took some inspiration from Kingdom Hearts, since the idea of a key being used as a primary weapon was very cool to me. Obviously I didn't want to copy the keyblade one-to-one, so I leaned heavily into the wand aspect (although keyblades are also wands in their own right haha). As for the blade of energy; it can be, depending on whether it is a Mystic Key or a Black Key, of either a Light element or a Dark element, with variations of course. Moonlight, Twilight and Starlight are some examples of variations; though in some cases creating a blade of flame or lightning is also possible. This requires much focus and training to maintain for long periods of time, however. Of course, generating a blade of Light or Dark isn't the only thing they can do, but it is a common ability amongst experienced wielders.
A shade brute in the form of a large rabbit. A shade is the manifestation of darkness, and negativity is simply the byproduct of it. The light during the day prevents shades from manifesting, which is why they are most commonly seen at night.
A sketch of a Demon, Celestials who have fallen to darkness. They originally come from the Unseen Realm, and retain most of their power even after their fall from grace. Demons, like all Celestials, are capable of "putting on flesh", creating physical bodies for themselves. This is due to their spiritual forms being far too large to fit in the mortal universes, viewing them akin to small atoms. Malevir himself has many demons loyal to him.

A sketch of Captain Gulliver, a sea monster from the Dreamlands and captain of the Blue Anchor Pirates. His signature weapon is called The Weight of The Sea. He can assume a giant form where his lower body becomes the tentacles of a kraken, and his control and power over water increases dramatically. Gulliver cares about three things: his crew, freedom (which includes adventure), and food. The latter of which he frequently indulges in. His reasons for trying to acquire the Figment Stones are a mystery even to all but his crew.

A sketch of an Umbral Messenger, assassins that serve also as missionaries for the Umbral Sanctum. They, like everyone else in the Umbral Sanctum, are Malevir's children, whether literally or through blood transfusion. The Necklace that they wear is a symbol of their faith in their lord and father, and so greatly increases the strength of their dark magic. The brand they wear on their hand is a both symbol of their adoption and a symbol of their enslavement to the fate he weaves. The Blood Moon Sabre is a sword powered by the Crimson Moon. Known also as the Crimson Moon Fragment, it can inflict hemorrhaging much easier than any man-made blade, with wounds that can't be healed normally. The lost children refer to two of the characters I have made, which will be revealed in another post.
