Flying without an Earth license.

A cacophony of colorful waves floating through a black space and crashing into each other bubbling and bursting before chaotic suns as a sunflower rises out of the ocean to fill the center of it all.
Long and tall painting made of acrylic on a canvas that was preprinted with a photo but then modified so that it is hard to tell. It is of an island at the center, that looks like a cartoonish golf course. The bright white clouds from the photo print below burst out and mix above the horizon and glass towers burst out of the ground like stoic ghostly trees branching out and fading into the clouds to heights beyond comprehension. A bold grey line weaves from the foreground across the waters in arches and sharp corners hovering above all like a climbing highway with no supports, splattering into the air or dangerously slapping onto or puncturing the buildings never quite reaching the ground. In the foreground where this road begins the waves of the photo crash but they have been altered in the painting to float above the sand in papery sheets, a dry and untouched beach extending under it out of sight. wiggly hand like ferns dominate the very bottom of the painting, weakly reaching up towards the island across the waters, but falling in a tangled mess at the bottom like a seaweed salad, shiny and amalgamous, wet and defeated. This is one of several paintings like it where a photo print from a thrift store, a print on demand or heavily manufactured but poor quality image on a canvas is covered with paint to vaguely match the composition with a different narrative structure.
