Dear Meadow Bird:

I wanted to say a proper goodbye. I was worried that my parting words to you may have seemed harsh. At this time in my personal journey, it is simply important that I stand up for myself, and trust my own feelings above all else.

Truth be known, I very much enjoyed our time together and I will treasure the memories always. It simply seems clear to me that our paths came together for a time, and now must diverge.

I wish you every happiness and adventure, and I sense you wish me the same. I hope after some time we might be friends again... Or perhaps the space between our paths will widen still more and we will find ourselves independent and free forever improved by our time together.
