DONE - Fixed a lighting bug in the toon shader. - A lot more things are interactable. - Druids are now collectable. - Scanning makes things light up more. - Quest markers now have god rays to make them stand out more. - Added a Home Base screen marker that appears when the player scans. - Cows fart. - Pressing release with the Nabbler inside a delivery spot will now trigger deliveries instead of dropping the deliverable. - The camera targets both the player and grabbed item when grabbling. - The player is no longer yeeted across the map when a grabbed item breaks. - Slightly improved framerate when Squiggling. Work on a main narrative thread that co guides the player through the quests, helps them to find new ones, and ties the existing ones together "IMHO this is the weakest part of the game, there isn't anything consistently guiding me through the experience or taking me from area-to- area, instead I have to sort of stumble across the quests and can get a bit confused holding multiple quests at once."
When quest is not pinned put a message -- there to let the player know about the info screen (I think this player missed that the screen exists) If I don't pin a quest, how can I find my active quests and pin it again? Having a control prompt for this displayed on screen would be great. It would he great to see a count of my currently "active" quests too, It would be nice to have my next quest ™ in the queue auto-pin after I complete the current pinned quest,
I was a little confused about the release the specimens thing. Since arriving at the home hase says "deliver specimens" - I assumed that meant they'd leave my inventory. So then I just went back and tried it a second time after getting the "how to drop things" prompt. Maybe "scan specimens" would be clearer? That or Just take them out of my inventory
