Back to blur, MPRT benchmark at GtG=0 is simplified to "Blur Busters Law": 1ms of persistence = 1 pixel of motion blur per 1000 pixels/sec motion. 1. Persistence = pulsewidth on strobed displays (BFI, ULMB) 2. Persistence = frametime on sample-hold displays (most) Same as shutter blur science. /5

But what about GPU limits? Or not enough Hz? Or retro gaming? Blur busting with lower Hz & fps: BFI & strobe backlights! Quality varies between brands so cherrypick: - Flicker & bad picture & duplicates; - Strobe crosstalk (GtG0->100% slower than Hz); - Arbitrary Hz caps (limited Hz choice) /6
