Windmills in the midst of crops getting ready for harvesting in the next few weeks. No piles of bird graves seen anywhere. On our drive from Illinois to Indiana today, miles of crops (corn and soybeans) approaching harvest in the fields side-by-side with many gently spinning windmills. There were no piles of dead birds anywhere to be seen. No bird murder…birder (as Stephen Colbert mentioned in one of his monologues) happening here. #windpower# #crops#
