Dean Ray Johnson ⚪ @boardgametextbook.com · Oct 6 It's hard to describe the "real" experience of playing FF1 because I had the Nintendo Power guide, and I was obsessed with just looking up the stats for each item and reading each map instead of exploring and trying things out on my own. Like you'd need a full guide for such a primitive RPG.

FWIW it seems the included manual was a fairly robust guide for most of the game including a bunch of charts. To be fair, most of these were likely lost when borrowing from friends let alone Blockbuster.
