My favourite tent, a 4-berth dome with a porch almost as long again, double entrance, three poles... Here, it is very loosely pitched in the garden to air out. Putting it up reminds me of how much I loved to camp. I can't deal with the minor discomforts now. But this tent STILL impresses me with the size you get out of the design. If you push the porch groundsheet back a little, you can get in the side entrance without letting any water into the dry living area even in pretty heavy rain. Anyway. I'm glad I found it. I had to go to the back of the two cupboards and the attic to find it <facepalm>
Me. With a bag on my head. To cover the semi permanent hair dye so it stays moist and doesn't get everywhere.
My parched garden, even the brambles and the evergreen hedge are brown and fading. But this time, the sky is white with rainclouds and everything is wet! Including the sofa covers I just washed and put on the line, but they'll dry tomorrow.
Rainfall chart for the last 30 days near me. A few days are barely blips. 25th July stands out as a towering day of heavy rain at about 2.65mm and the 31st apparently had half a mm. Must have been overnight.

A thick, fuzzy piece of crochet in bright pink and white fuzz which gives a slightly softer pink effect. The texture of the pattern which gives a leaf shape with a deep central section is beginning to become clear. There are four and a half staggered repeats of the leaf motif in the final piece.

The piece is actually a dusty purple/aubergine but everything in the pic looks orange because of the low light.

A heavily textured leaf-pattern crochet piece attached to an 18" hoop. It's currently around finger length and nearly two repeats of the offset pattern. I'm using two strands of cotton yarn that give a flamingo vibe. One is very saturated strong pink, the other is a softer baby pink. I'm hoping that with fairy lights inside it will give a warm, delicious glow. The leaves definitely in no way resemble any genitalia. I might be lying about that.

It's untidy looking, completely unblocked and the ends aren't even kind of tucked in, but it's been nice feeling the inspiration strike again.
