Clipping this as the final projection before snow arrives, as it’ll make a nice demo of Bayesian updating as a fat tail event materializes once the visualization is fixed. Snowfall now likely to exceed 10 inches, about as likely as not to exceed 15 inches

I think the way to fix this visualization is to use some format — pie chart, waterfall chart, stacked bar — that facilitates mental addition. The problem with the current viz is that it can’t decide if it’s a PDF or a CDF. But numbers add to 100%, it should be a CDF.
