my post: User henrionmain is a coward who blocked me before I could reply to his very stupid follow-up comment here so:

if you think that trans people are just somehow doing it for fun, even if you yourself are trans, you are very stupid. if you think me (someone who is also transexual and medically transitioning) or my ex are oblivious to the consequences of being transgender, or that "lack of medical gatekeeping" exists when we both live in a country that takes 8 years to get a first appt let alone hormones, something that pushes many people into extortionate private care or funding DIY instead, you again are incredibly stupid.

lastly if you're a trans man who acts like every other trans person who isn't exactly like as your enemy: you don't need to spend your entire life hating yourselves and other trans people. people who chose not to medically transition for any reason aren't your enemy and no, they aren't the reason cis people hate you. cis people are going to hate you even if every trans person was a perfect man or woman according to your self-conceived definition. you can choose to wallow in hating your fellow trans people for the rest of your life if you really want to but you won't get any sympathy from the rest of us and you will instead continue to alienate yourselves 👍

this is a comment from someone replying to me (user boeing-787) on tumblr: Where do you think they got the idea from? Like in my experience as a transsexual myself, a not insignificant amount of people who use that label are not actually trans, and lack of medical gatekeeping has enabled them. Not to mention that being trans is not fun or cool or a choice, it's an incredibly misunderstood and stigmatized condition that people are willing to KILL US for having.
