Probably because the construction and transportation of a rounded cage is going to cost more. Each piece needs to be curved in production, and can't lay flat in transit. But, TK loves wrestling, and loves doing things that look cool. So...here we are. Lol
TNA did a octagonal one, does that count? I guess they didn't turn up the subdivision surface modifier enough [3d modelling joke]
