The installation changes in form, but the version pictured here is an array of thousands of plastic wrapped candies layed out on a dim gallery floor in a rectangle, lit under soft warm spotlights. The combined weight of the piece starts at 175 lbs. of candy, the original weight of the artist's partner who was lost to AIDS in 1991, but gallery visitors are encouraged to take some, and so the shape and form of the piece is gradually eaten away over the course of its exhibition.
