L Break Into Program @breakintoprogram.co.uk · 22d Walked in today - the bike is fine, just not going straight home this evening. Dug out the mp3 player (battery has actually improved @bugbear6502.bsky.social) and listened to one of my favourite albums from the late ‘80s on the way into work.

There's a lot to be said for a dedicated MP3 player.

I bit the bullet and bought one of these (Y1) as none of my other "retro" players (ipod, ipodtocuch, android phone) would hit the sweet spot of playing my music and syncing from linux. For £70 it works well. I could expand the sd card, but I really can't be arsed to open it up at the moment.
What a great band! Still listening to them today 🎧
I have my own playlist of this album that is made up of extended/alternate versions of all of the songs.
MP3s! Pah, they'll never catch on! 🧐
