A birder is attempting to take cell phone footage of a Bridled Tern, which has landed on his finger and is looking at the phone.

Western Palm Warbler (a small brownish bird with some streaks, a reddish cap, and yellow throat) in an oak. From eastern MA where the western birds are extremely rare in spring and all Palms should have been gone weeks ago.

Same robin looking forward now. Ring around the neck is pretty complete and there are a couple white patches on the front and thighs.

A Red-bellied Tiger Beetle standing up on a small rock. The tip of the red is quite visible. This one has less markings than the previous one in the thread.

A blurry photo of a Carolina Saddlebags and a Comet Darner having a midair conversation. The saddlebags is a red dragonfly with a red patch in the wings, the darner is green with a red abdomen. Both are unusual here west of Boston, although this pond is a regular hangout for unknown reasons. The darner is known for being near impossible to photograph and just happened to photobomb the saddlebags I was aiming for (and still not quite getting).
