I’ve also got a couple rugosa roses that don’t mind the weather up here. Not native, but the only shrub I’ve had any luck over-wintering. But they always struggle in the spring when the aphids inevitably appear. My mid-summer they’re covered in ladybug nymphs. Thanks, friend!
