Fuels for Ireland said that it hopes to be able to get around 20 oil trucks into the Whitegate oil refinery today. It said seven went in on convoy earlier and that it is hoped to do that number two more times before the end of the day. However, CEO Kevin McPartlan warned that some drivers are reporting intimidation. He said one of the fuel tanker drivers told his company that he was recognised by a protester, and his wife was then subsequently intimidated online because her husband was driving into Whitegate site.
