Why do we have to go backwards in nationalism? Surely you're not joining Reform? We have world issues to address and no nation is any different to 'Mother Nature' with regard to climate change, resources overshoot, pollution etc. We need international cooperation to sort these.

Britain’s industrial and scientific revolution was not just marked by Brunel’s bridges and Stephenson’s steam engine. Before 1870, post was eyewateringly expensive, beyond the reach of almost all ordinary people. But the humble, pre-paid, halfpenny postcard changed everything.
A lot of hand wringing and "things were better in the old days". I seem to have missed any actual suggestions for progressing.
Why don't you call it 'Centre for English Progress'? That's what you mean.
