These items are presented as genuine prototype items but are actually retail carts with printed out labels slapped on them.

another big tip-off is: if you see a single seller offering dozens and dozens of protos for sale, whether individually or in bulk, be cautious
These listings are presumed to have been purchased via proxy shipping services by foreigners which results in them having no chance at getting their money back from these scam listings. There's very little buyer protection on Yahoo Auctions Japan compared to eBay.
