I have to admit I never appreciated plumbers and the complexity of troubleshooting a leaky toilet until I worked on them myself. After replacing the fill valve, I ended up replacing the flush valve too which also required separating the tank from the bowl to replace the tank-to-bowl gasket. #DIY
