According to a Gainesville Police Department incident report, Bader was southbound on Southwest 10th Street when he hit a curb on his scooter and then struck a parked Ford F150 pickup truck. Bader was found on the ground next to his scooter and was unresponsive. According to the report, there was a strong odor of alcohol. Bader was transferred to Shands Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. “Harrison Bader has been suspended from all team activities indefinitely,” UF coach Kevin O’Sullivan said Tuesday.
Sources have told SFist that the scooter crash actually occurred in the Cow Hollow area around closing time at the bars, around 1:50 am on Sunday, July 26, in the vicinity of Balboa Cafe at Greenwich and Fillmore streets. According to a witness, Bader's scooter crashed into the back of a San Francisco Fire Department fire engine (SFFD Station 16 is on that block) the wheel of which then rolled over his foot, causing major injury.

What Needs to Go Right? Every year, every team in baseball can point to healthy starting pitching as the biggest thing it needs for a successful season. It’s true for everyone. But, trust me, it’s more true for these Padres. This rotation has upside. It also has very little depth. And nearly all of the pitchers they’ll be counting on this year come with some level of injury concern, on the wrong side of 30 years old. That’s a volatile mix. Joe Musgrove is coming back from Tommy John surgery. Michael King dealt with a nerve issue and a knee injury last year, which cost him half the season. Nick Pivetta, last year’s stalwart, dealt with arm fatigue early in camp.

Miami Incident OK, apparently I need to address the Miami Incident. As one of my friends on the team has informed me, there is an article waiting to come out without my consent or comments about this situation. So I'm going to just share myself. As a veteran of the game of baseball, there are rules, and I broke one in Miami. After being taken out of a close ball game in front of my friends and family, I brought a Presedente into the dugout. I then sat right next to Rob and let him know that too much slack in some areas and too tight of restrictions in others are not conducive to us winning. Shoutout to my teammates and Howie for taking the beer out of my hands before I could take a sip (I appreciate you guys). After the game I went into the office with Dave & Rob. We aired out our differences and the conversation ended with me apologizing for letting my emotions get the best of me. I would like to note, that I was ready...
