Danto, a colossal purple dragon flies over the Statue of Liberty and breathes fire to melt an approaching iceberg. Protest against the attacks by ICE on US citizens and immigrants.
In the Astral plane of Marinos, all that exists manifests as a representation of itself. People, thoughts, communities, concepts. All of it manifests physically in some way or another. One of the most dangerous manifestations in the realm is that of the ancient god Jörmungandr. His physical form is that of a unfathomably large snake that stretches across continents and looms ever the threat to all in the world, whether they know of him or not. His astral form shows his true essence, an all-consuming black hole. Those dominated by the serpent have their astral selves drawn in and added to its power, as was to be the fate for this particular shining soul. Luckily, the astral plane is not one unfamiliar to Danto. While he stands no chance in any direct confrontation with Jörmungandr in the real world, this sea is the very place that formed his draconic body and granted him new life. Here Danto may just yet be able to save this soul from its demise. Darkness will always try dragging everything it can in, but there will always be those who pull against its draw and make sure light will forever shine.
