The kids these days don't read books unfortunately. On X devs are always like "How did people learn to code before YT etc..?". Books, duh. To which they usually think thats stupid, that books are a waste. I still got all my CS textbooks from over 20years ago! Plus a ton of Oreillly/etc..books.
I鈥檝e been reading JavaScript in Depth by James Snell, and what stood out is that it doesn鈥檛 try to teach APIs or patterns. It focuses on why JavaScript behaves the way it does under the hood. That kind of knowledge doesn鈥檛 really go stale!
