Open Parametric text (Modify, Change Text Parameters) and click on the "v" text in the sketch you just created, and it'll select in the window. Add "{_.version}" to the "v" in your text, and click OK, and you will see the text changes to something like "v4". Save the design (without being able to say why you're saving the design, another dumb change) and you'll see that version number increments.

Bunnings 'Buddy' AI chatbot. I ask "I only have a CO2 laser; I cannot engrave metal. Anything in plastic?", and the response (part 1 of 3): "Since you're using a CO2 laser, you'll want to avoid PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) because it releases hazardous chlorine gas when engraved, which can be dangerous for you and your machine. Polyethylene (Poly Pipe) is a much safer alternative for your project. It's a common material for irrigation and handles CO2 laser engraving quite well, typically leaving a clean mark. Acrylic (if you can find it in tube form) is also fantastic for CO2 lasers, as it engraves with a beautiful frosted effect or cuts cleanly, but for a "plumbing" look, poly pipe is your best bet. Here are some Poly Pipe and non-PVC options that are safer for your laser: Poly Pipe (Safe for CO2)"
