Big drop in Dem support in Dem strongholds. H lost nearly 4 M votes in California and NY alone (relative to 2020). Some swing states H out-performed B (in total vote), including Wisconsin, Georgia and North Carolina. T's vote only increased 2.4%, H's dropped 10%. This was about Dem apathy.

As usual if we're honest. Looking at 538 website I was convinced a month before the election that Trump would win, polls underestimated his support in 2016 and 2020, and Harris was well behind Clinton. When they called a state a toss-up, I assumed Trump probably had a lead there. And so it proved.
