2. the only real solution was to quit my job for the time being, i'm afraid.
3. more proper full-time and part-time positions, for one - WAY too much gig economy hiring happening. better accessibility - the industry is neurodivergent as hell (good), companies are missing out on our insane hyperfocus by being weird about things like WFH. more reasonable deadlines, better communication - it's wild how often we have to work with basically zero context and aren't allowed to ask questions so it just becomes guessing and hoping for the best. absolutely no fucking genAI/LLM shit - ethics aside, it makes the job harder. "you just need to clean it up a little" no, it's absolutely miserable.
