Another gorgeous cup from @feelgoodsj - "a moment of repose" (swipe to see it's package / contents list) it smells like strawberries, Granny Smith apples, and pure sunshine, but you know those rocket pops that used to be like $10-15 cents at the corner store? They're like a hard pastel colored compressed powder lollipop—they call the little tubes of candies "smarties" in America but they're Rockets here. So yeah, like those! It's beyond yum, it's taking me back in time.. and years, I used a bit of raw sugar because again - I'm seven goblins stacked in a human skin..
Blackberry Midnight Thyme - So I used a small bit of raw sugar (because I'm a total sugar fiend) which I was worried about because the aroma was so "herbaceous" from the thyme and this tea does taste like thyme but it's not at all overwhelming. I feel like ancient medicine might taste this way. Like from a salesman in Dodge City or a wise woman in a little shack somewhere.. The sugar blunts the sharp edge of the thyme and really juices up the berry. It definitely feels like a tonic or an old-world remedy. It’s the kind of brew you’d imagine sipping while listening to a gritty western radio drama or an old mystery serial, or maybe while reading fantasy.. Note: It's also much more purple than my photo shows, I just have a lot of bright contrasting colors happening here plus my desk lamp is set to "warm" 🌡
