In “TrAnS WoMeN HaVe aN UnFaIr bIoLoGiCaL AdVaNtAgE” news I went out for a ride with a cis friend of mine and she has a power meter and she was running at 72% of her FTP and I was running at 92% of mine and I was fighting to keep up with her! Also her FTP is HIGHER THAN MINE 🤪

Watts per kilo FTP value, better indicator. Overall number is just that, but watts per actual body mass, is the real value that matters.

For those who are not in the know FTP is Functional Threshold Power and it’s the highest average power a cyclist can maintain for about an hour.
