We need to scrutinise what's claimed to be deficits, but also sometimes emphasise them, e.g. when pushing for supports & acommodations. I can think of an analogy with gender/feminism but it's impossible to capture the nuance in Bluesky posts & we're already deep into the territory of this quote:
