CEO Johnson says that Inland counties' desire for more service and lower per-unit costs "are in direct opposition". FALSE. Metrolink's 2024 schedule adjustment increased service while decreasing subsidy! Impending service cuts will drive ridership down while making costs go up.

Overall, OCTA board members demonstrate a lack of understanding about the agency they govern or Metrolink's situation, while OCTA staff mislead and misdirect them. Local control is not working, we need governance reform now.
