This bit reminds me of the time (~2012ish) a middle-school acquaintance of my kids' described how his dad—a Blackhawk pilot—missed using his helicopter to "herd Mexicans" near the US Mexican border. The desire to terrorize others among (mostly white) men in the US is incredibly common.
