Post from discord by Canwr Ffug (me) that says: I was thinking about making a video about what potential I saw in D2 but then looking into it and... fucking welp. There's a lawsuit about copyright infringement and because of that lawsuit we find out that there is no way to play Red War at all. Meaning if Bungie wanted to bring it back it'd have to be re-made from scratch. And that most likely will never happen because according to Sony, Bungie is under performing. And some noise on le reddit said that the grind at the moment is terrible. the new Armour system only applies to the most recent content, so no reason to do any of the old stuff if you're trying to progress past a certain point and the portal just makes the game feel really small. So a video that was supposed to be "Hey, I think there is still hope for D2" turned into the realization that Bungie no longer has the people nor budget needed for ambitious projects because a certain CEO wanted more antique cars instead of trying to help the people that make the company
