The Dueling Banjos: The Best of the Banjo Cassette: Side one features Banjo in the Hills, which includes some fiddling that one would say induces a gut punch but it is really more like a "Temple of Doom" (unquestionably the worst of the Indianas Jones despite featuring my boy ShortRound) style reaching through your chest and squeezing your heart. It really benefits from immersive listening in the surround sound of a closed car, despite first listens some 28 years ago on headphones in a walkman knockoff cassette player.

A sack of tapes dumped out into the passenger seat of Johnny5, a 1999 Acura 3.2TL with a glorious aftermarket stereo system which at the time inclided a state of the art cassette deck. The bulk of the tapes are clearly unlabeled, though visible is a boxed Bun Family Players Demo as well as a few tapes with manufacturer printed labels (though those are no guarantee of the contents given the occasional taping over things that definitely happened at points various.

There’s a for times of dessert first kinda drink called [Hoşaf - Wikipedia] that often is in the home fridge, but as I am not as locked in on the rules of things, I have found an interesting daily simulacra. I make coffee using a base layer of trader joe’s unsweetened dried cranberries (I am not generally brand conscious but those ones are gently supplemented and consequently have tremendous fiber stats) and then leaving my coffee to cool off also rehydrates the dried fruit and it’s a kind of gentle delight. (This last month I have have also been burning the stockpile of purloined dried fruit from the old work-kitchen which is an amusing thing to still be working through 1.25 years later, though they do not have the same box-ticking stats.)
