Dear Kathy I have a strong sense of pride in exactly two things ... the first I celebrate every June ... and the other is in being from New York State.* The first one has been under attack since before I was born but is a pride that I will die with even if it's at a pride march because someone decided to kill us for celebrating our joy. The second one takes a few hits every now and then** but still remains very strong ... until last night ... I have watched almost every single episode of The Rachel Maddow show that has ever aired*** she brings an interesting historical perspective to issues and is fun and smart while doing it. She is also pretty good at pressing on the people she is interviewing ... and last night both of you failed me ... FIRE ERIC ADAMS This is not a complicated issue, it's not political, it's not anything more than the fact that the only person on the entire planet of earth who can fire one of New York's most corrupt**** Mayors is you ... and you absolutely should! He should have been fired the day the charges were filed! He should have been fired the day after that, and the day after that, and basically every day up till this DoJ announcement. Now ... you absolutely MUST fire him. He is being used as a tool off the fascist king the supreme court has dumped on us and the only thing they want out of him is to callously and monstrously "deport" our friends, neighbors, and family. If you do not fire this man, every family ripped apart in NYC, every restaurant that has to close because its staff was indicrimatly rounded up, every school teacher who has to put themselves between their students and ICE will be on YOU! and if the only thing stopping you from doing it is the fact that the man who would become Mayor is someone who almost beat you in a primary once ... then my disgust will know no bounds ...
