carmyn @carmyn.zone · 29d the amazing digital circus (2023-2026) - ended up awake literally all night watching it all in one sitting despite not intending to. it's as good as everyone says it is. charming, visually inventive, heartbreaking, and ultimately uplifting. i have more words i want to write but it will take time.

doom guy: life in first person, by john romero (2023) - pretty good read, though the first half of the book covering his childhood and id software was, imo, much better than the later half, which i found kind of lacking (the whole history of ion storm and daikatana gets like, three chapters?)
