A Directorate Scout Service cutter! Considered the 'big boys' of the service, they are nevertheless, still merely explorers. Called in for distress calls from smaller scout crews or when manpower and longevity. The Directorate is centuries ahead of the other powers in the orion's arm, and even a lowly scout frigate is a multi-role threat that can hold its own against heavier ships. Like most Directorate ships, she functions like a beehive. Smack her, and enough drones will spew out to ruin anyone's day. It's sometimes still not enough for the precursor-civilization relics that scouts sometimes encounter on the edges of the frontier.
