The text reads: "Censorship is going to rot this platform and if Bluesky continues down the same path as every other socmed, there sadly won't be any reason to stay here. The new community guidelines are now banning content that is completely legal and was previously allowed with no issue. Bluesky's content filters and user moderation tools are really good! Having to opt in to see graphic or adult content already makes sure that users consent to seeing certain content. Why not expand this feature instead? You have already set an impossible censorship and moderation standard with D.ii. (banning fictional illustrated sexual content involving non-consensual activity). This is simply not accurately enforcable. There will be way more unclear cases than clear ones. Practically no one is drawing characters having sex while smiling at the camera, giving thumbs up and exclaiming their fictional consent to the viewer. How are you going to fairly and accurately determine which pieces of kink art are allowed? Which fictional character is tied up as part of a consensual bdsm scene, and which ones are tied up against their fictional will? Lastly, this type of content will still be made and posted, no matter what. All banning it will do is disincentivise people from accurately tagging it. These artists are fully aware that many people might not want to see this kind of art and are already very good at giving content warnings on their own initiative. The new guidelines will make it much harder for users to avoid this type of content, as it will no longer be neatly and accurately tagged and labelled. Please don't take away your users ability to self moderate. It's very apparent that Bluesky's moderation team does not need more work to do."
