I completely understand your decision, and I wish circumstances were different.
It’s not like they don’t already have some of this information, but here they’re saying that they’ll happily use it against you if they don’t like it. Hard no from me on US travel, probably for quite a while…
I heard about this and seeing the full scope in writing - nah. Enjoy the time with the doggo Cathrine and hopefully I'll see you again one day not too far soon when we get out of this self-imposed nightmare.
Weirded out by the DNA. There are people with Jewish ancestry that refuse to do those genealogy family tree things for fear of having their DNA on file. Doubt they'll be visiting anytime soon.
Yeah 😔 I turned down two US conferences this year, and one next year. I used to be excited to travel west, but now I feel no desire whatsoever. It’s a shame, I have many good friends over there.
They need to run most big events outside the USA, in places where visitors are treated decently.
