catter1 @catter.dev · Jan 8 Absolutely moving the new Leaf Litter added in #minecraft snapshot 25w02a! However, I would love if the litter could follow biome tinting. In normal biomes, the brown is okay. But it feels out of place in less green-leafed biomes, such as jungles or custom biomes. I want to use it in more places!

I do understand why their brown. Fallen leaves are "dead", especially since their recipe is in the furnace. But colorful fallen leaves are cooler (and real)! Maybe hardcoded leaf litter for each leaf (Oak Leaf Litter, etc) could work, but I think the differences between them would be too minimal.
Where are they being moved to?
I feel like adding a subtle biome tint to them while retaining the dead, somewhat desaturated look could work
