The Great American Fun Shortage of 2026
Some white dude's (it's me!) fingers holding a triangular prism of see through plastic with a white wall on the right side and a green floor, that is a bug capturing device. Inside, scurrying on the green plastic is a tiny black wasp about the size of a fingernail. Behind is a blurry black, brown and white RatCha terrier who really wanted to catch and eat the insect. Behind him a partially open sliding glass door and a wood deck in partial shade on a sunny day.

Six Pacific sideband snails gathered on a concrete sidewalk littered with brown cedar tree detritus. Probably, they were smoking cigs and plotting a home burglary or something. Just look as these badasses!
