Bro, I just want to work for Michigan @ceausescuspeed.run · Jun 17 I found out a couple weeks ago that the house our slumlord evicted us from a couple years ago recently sold for $265,000 (it was and is not worth this much). He slapped a coat of paint on the walls in the basement and the new owner is probably going to find out tonight that the foundation leaks.

I'm salty about that house for a bunch of reasons, including the landlord working for the city in conjunction with the Detroit Land Bank, putting houses in other people's names, outbidding longtime neighbors and making 250%+ profit off of very little work. I'm in a better place now but damn.
The new owner is probably an out-of-state person who bought it for AirBNB purposes anyway. At least that's been the pattern here in Lasalle Gardens
