automagical (adjective) Used to describe a technical process in a way that makes you look smart without having to actually explain anything. Carl: How does it know my age? I only entered date of birth... Bob: It's automagical, that's how!

moore's law (noun) The observation that software developers can continue building bloated systems because hardware makers bail us out every two years. "This app is an absolute resource hog. Oh well, Moore's law!"
prototype noun A preliminary model of a system or feature used for testing, validation, and shipping to prod because deadlines. Dev: Here's a quick prototype I whipped up for you Boss: Nice! Ship it and get back to your Jira backlog
