Oak treehoppers are out! Known for their endearing maternal care, mamas remain with their babies until they emerge as adults and eventually leave the oak branch where they were born.

They’re so handsome!
I found these a few weeks ago and they had some unwelcome guests. Also they were on American Chestnut, not oak, which is kind of neat.
treehoppers are freaken great look at them pronotum!
