Pic here just for an example, note how the "outline" on Mario isnt consistently 2 pixels thick, Every sprite has some form of inconsistent quirk to it like that, meaning theres no "wrong" way to make custom sprites for the game, just a matter of catching the right vibe (to me at least lol)
